A competitive and comparative analysis was conducted to better understand the marketplace and emerging trends.
By researching small local wineries we got a better understanding of our competitors strengths and weaknesses and their operations. The business models of these wineries isn’t something that we wanted to replicate, but we did want to use as a guide to produce a reasonable market solution that consumers may be familiar with.
For our comparative analysis we researched companies that offered in-person experiences with an e-commerce presence. This allowed us to have a better understanding of a business that constructs experiences through both lenses.
